One of 80 cars ever built by VW "Pilote Department" in Puebla, exclusively for the United Arab Emirates.

Information from sightings, owners, and emails estimate around 15 of these cars being left over – some in catastrophic condition – are still located in scrapyards somewhere in the Middle East. Of these, only 3 are known to be in original condition, with service records and matching numbers. Registered in Germany and with a
German TÜV inspection certificate, there is only this one car - another nice car in Spain is also known to exist.

A dream turned to reality

This "MILLENNIUM CUP EDITION" Beetle has been in my possession since 2008, purchased, registered, and driven in Dubai, and imported to Germany in 2010.

Since my first sighting in Abu Dhabi in 2002 (arrival at the Al & Sons car warehouse in Mussaffah - Abu Dhabi) I knew that I had to own such a car one day.

The most beautiful car ever built by VW in a small series. In 2016 it received a full inspection report from German TÜV and has only been driven about 200 km ever since.
Currently TÜV Status - 2027 ).

THERE ARE ONLY TWO COMPLETE CARS KNOWN IN EUROPE & THE USA **

** The term "complete" refers, for example, to the following points:
 

  • Original paint (…with unpainted front and rear spoilers, there are probably no more cars like this. This is due to the fact that there are very high curbs, high speed bumps, and sometimes non-standard entrances and exits in shopping malls, parking garages, and many other buildings in the Emirates, which repeatedly cause problems for these cars and other sports cars!).

  • Original stickers on the doors – these were repeatedly removed during painting, could not be replaced, OR even had to be removed by the local vehicle inspection authority in the Emirates because stickers were not allowed on private cars! …see the vehicle inspection report under "Problem Cars"!

  • Original engines – untuned!

  • Matching Numbers ( Original VIN ID & Serial Numbers of Engine & Transmission )
