The data published here comes from car owners, from sources in the UAE, who witnessed the delivery of these cars on site at the official VW importer "Al Naboodah" in Dubai!
Based on "oral & written" reports from VW engineers who were personally involved in the development and construction of the RSI Beetle and the Cup Edition Beetle in Puebla / Mexico, as well as from employees at the Wolfsburg plant!

Since the cars of the " RSI , RENNCUP and the CUP EDITION BEETLE " are very similar in appearance, an attempt will also be made to discuss some of the "differences" in more detail.

Regarding the PROBLEMS and the many QUESTIONS , there are of course also some insights... (*)

 

(*) Unfortunately, no one has yet managed to get an official statement from VW Wolfsburg regarding these cars. Inquiries about this model are met with nothing but head-shaking and no information whatsoever.
The cars are not visible in any IT system visible to the Cutomer Service Team – as VW has stated till date?

The circumstances surrounding the construction of these cars were already explained in great detail in a report by a VW employee in 2020, in connection with the construction of the RSI, and therefore extensively referenced on this page !
